Student Activities and Athletics

If your student is interested in our athletics programs, they must have a completed physical form on file before trying out for any sport. 

Holy Spirit  Catholic School offers the following:

Soccer:  November-February, boys and girls, grades 6-8,  tryouts required

Softball:  March-May, grades 6-8, separate teams for boys and girls, must tryout

Basketball:  August-October, grades 6-8, boys team and girls’ team, must tryout

Cheerleading:  August-October, grades 6-8, must tryout

Volleyball:  November-January, girls grades 6-8, must tryout

Drama Club: All year, grades 3-8

Church Choir: All year, grades 3-8

Brain Brawl: For National Jr. Honor Society students

Battle of the Books:  An intra-diocese competition for middle school students

Girl Scouts:  Daisies through Senior Girl Scouts, contact Holy Spirit Church

Boy Scouts:  Tigers through Boy Scouts, contact Holy Spirit Church

Band:  Grades 4-8, sign up in the fall of each school year.  Additional cost

Youth Group:  An active middle school group involved in service projects and Catholic fellowship

Student Government:  elected student leadership, grades 4-8
